The kit

Just a quick update today.

Last night I grappled with the mouse and really threw down my gauntlet as a true eBay warrior, as I have managed to buy all of the starter kit I need at some very good prices!

I had a quick look at some 2nd hand bits but decided that a new bike, deserves new kit.

So last night I bought a pair of weisse armoured leather trousers for £49.99 Inc delivery,

A US20 jacket (size small) for £59,99

 and a set of ghost boots for £39.99.

Ghost bikes very kindly knocked some money off my buffalo leather gloves for a multiple purchase

 and I topped it off with a nice bandana to keep the neck warm.

But the important one, the lid.
One thing I would never even think of doing is buying a used lid, even if it hasn't been crashed it may have been knocked around a bit or dropped and that can be enough to negate it's safety.

So I bought a new one, it's a Box BX5 hurricane in black, this helmet scored 4 out of 5 stars in the new government organised "Sharp" Testing" and retails for £99.99.

Whilst googling I came across the very good value George White motorcycles online shop, where I managed to buy the above helmet for an unbelievable £19.99! But at this price I'll probably buy a 5 star helmet shortly and just use the bx5 for a short while as a stop gap.

In all this excitement I forgot that earlier in the week I had put a cheeky £10 on an armoured leather jacket in my size on eBay, at lunchtime today I managed to win the jacket for just £8!

 It's costing more to post the bloody thing! But this means I have a spare jacket or at the very least something to look good in whilst I continue my sorting out of the bike!


The big day of delivery is coming up on Thursday so I'll pop in some more interesting bits then!
