Spark plug.

So the stock spark plug is a "torch" branded plug, fine enough, but this is a "Firebird" so performance plugs are needed!

The Recommended plug for our bikes is the DR8EA from NGK, so off to my favourite motorcycle shop... ebay to order one for £3.50 including postage.

the plug needs a 19mm socket and is removed by unscrewing, I checked the gap on the new plug with my feeler gauges and ensured it was 0.07mm threaded it in (not too tight) and started her up. I can't say performance is noticeable, but this is a reliability measure as the torch plug has been known to fail.
